Extract from my French Independent & Underground Obscurities article in Audion 56 (2010): Typically French in its production style, and drawing all sorts of influences, Canterbury elements and underground avant-jazz, in an esoteric fusion concoction, and quite surprising for what are basically a double-bass, guitar and drums trio. The mood is often akin to early Lard Free (sans the electronics) or Pataphonie, and many others, notable for the unique fuzz/freaky guitar that occasionally breaks-out and the overall eclectic/esoteric feel. It's an album full of surprises, and certainly a grower.
