Aérea Negrot brings out the ARABXILLA in her, reveling in her unique musical vision, from the meandering vocals and perky electronics of the title track to the house slide and independence-asserting lyrics of "Todeloo." The homeward-looking Spanish disco of "A Volar" is augmented by her vocal playfulness, while the techno thump of "Deutsche Werden" points at her new home in Berlin. Mostly, Negrot seems to be having fun, never taking herself too seriously. Even on more earnest tracks like "Please Move To...," she manages to sneak in her personality, soon turning "Berlin" into a torch song. The romance on "It's Lover, Love" is more attenuated (and becomes dreamily minimalistic on its later dub), which contrasts the pure tech thump of "Come Back" or the baroque-influenced "Proll-Og" before its shifts into a fast 4/4 sexiness of "Listen to the People." A unique, fun experience!
