Sources for the sound-material on the album were (homemade) guitar, voice, and gourd flute, which were then sculpted by a variety of spectral manipulation software. Fiduciefret is part of a two-album project that includes Van Huizen' album Glasgrazer. Both albums feature artwork by Jeroen Ijsseldijk.
