"Sustraidun" is Basque expresion for "Rootical". "Sustraidun Roots Dub" tries to revive the spirit of the original Jamaican 70's dub, while also tries to incorporate the aesthetic of the 90's U.K. digital dub and a strong dose of traditional Spanish and Basque melodies.

Recorded in Bilbao and London and produced by Iñaki Yarritu "Sustraidun Roots Dub" included some of the sought after productions previously available only as dubplates that had been played exclusively by London and Spanish Sound Systems. So, this album is a compilation of Iñaki Yarritu's material from 1989 to 1997. Some of the tracks are made with electronic instruments, and some others with "real instruments".

The Album features U.K. dub stalwarts such as Mad Professor, Dub Judah, Dougie Wardrop (Concious Sounds) and Derek "Demondo" Fevrier.
