Notes

Elderflow was created during April and May 2014 from 29 acoustic guitar samples, which were selected from around 200 ideas recorded between 2010 and 2014.

These 29 samples were then spliced, pitched, and molded into the 14 tracks of Elderflow.

The guitar samples were often recorded in a hurry using a room mic, which ended up capturing a lot more than just musical sounds, and provides a soundtrack of my life throughout the 4 years of recording.

The roughness and unpolished nature of the guitar samples are an essence of what I am trying to achieve with Bay Of Islands.

All sounds other than the percussion were created with an acoustic guitar, then processed and modified by synthesizer.
