A lovely record if you like jazz and rap fusion.
Maybe it could be called ultra modern jazz.
The record is 14 years old, but still today I see it as a little future. So, timeless is the right word.
The majority od tunes are very funky flows with a smooth rap.
The special style is a result of the use of traditional jazz instruments, like trumpet, saxophone, piano and accoustic bass.
My 5 year old daughter came in to my room when I played "The Way U Wanna See Me". She started to dig directly.
It is also worth mention that rapper Al Agami is son of the king of the (unrecognised) Centralafrican kingdom Lado and is refugee under UN protection living in Denmark.
