This is the original and 1st UK pressing of 4 UK releases. Revered London "silver top" naturally in mono. Both the 1970 and 1973 Decca- London re-releases have the boxed @ 12'O Clock logo and are also mono. (The 1980s 4th retro release on the Decca brand via Polygram is in Stereo for full and spooky effect !)

Garpax USA (The original master tape owners) on failing to have much success and clout in promoting and generating the $ale$ they needed $old the ma$ter and right$ to British Decca who re-promoted and relea$ed it $tateside on their USA Parrot brand and $ubsequently on USA London too.

This still is the #1 and ultimate Halloween party must-have tune.
Pickett's "take" on Boris Karloff's voice just makes this perfect in every way. (IMO the "Stereo" mix really is the best as the spooky effects and sounds really do come alive from the grave and laboratory).
