I wonder why we didn't hear more from this man. His deep powerful yet smooth voice sits nicely on top of these two quality steppers in a way that reminds me of Walter Jackson. Of the two sides, I prefer the mournful I Don't Want To Be In Love Today. Is this rare groove? I never know because that term is used to describe so many tunes that I grew up with and were quite popular when they were released. At least in my circle. Anyway, if this is rare groove, and you're into it as a genre, check this one out. I think you'll like it!
