Catastrophic's debut release, although "Morbid Twist of Reality" had started being recorded the previous year, it remained unfinished when the band decided to make and release a limited edition EP to hold over the fans until "Morbid Twist" was finished. These songs were recorded during those sessions, but not included on the later demo, making them extremely rare exclusive tracks. However, unlike the finished "Morbid" demo these cuts are unmixed and raw, basically serving as an advance for their upcoming 7 song demo in the process of being recorded at the same time. These limited edition EPs include a single printed tape label on the A side (blank B side) and a fold-out inlay with thanks, lineup/contact info, credits, etc.

"Diminished Inferiority" would later be re-recorded on "The Last Voice" demo. This recording, however, as well as opening song "Intruder Within" are both exclusive to this limited edition EP.

The inlay also includes a note to the fans that reads as follows....
"Well, here's our first E.P. It's not much but our demo will come later at this studio we've been at for almost a year now! These songs are a rough draft copy off the board. No real mix-down or DAT, just raw fuckin' tracks! But fuck it! This is our lives and this is what we'll die doing!

Recording information:
Recorded in early 1993 during the "Morbid Twist of Reality" sessions, except these tracks are raw, given no mixing or mastering. Recorded specifically for this tape, and not included on "Morbid Twist of Reality".
