this a great listen!! all of you complaining about the synth and bassline, "cheap" sounds...do you not realize that this track was made in 1983. Stemming from disco and the equipment they used was newly created. That "cheap sound" is vinyl with a vintage touch. Appreciate.

Not only was it ahead of its time in 1983, I think it was ahead of its time for 2017. Interesting how much attention this track has gotten lately, although not entirely surprising giving how much more original it is compared to music today :D

Awesome tune! A couple commenters believe that the instrumental would be better without the "cheap sounding" melody. Give me a break. A lot of people in the dance community are super pretentious. If you were at a club and the dj played the instrumental you would dance you liars!

Only recently come across this track & love it but to say it was was ahead of it's time in 1983, you need to listen to 1979's Gina X / No GDMS or Japan's Life in Tokyo, same year.

I think it would have been better to leave the synth lead out of the Instrumental version, let the bassline take lead instead.That would have been cool, whereas the cheap sounding synth lead that was used sounds, well, cheap.Who cares though, the vocal mix is so good!

I almost prefer the B-side, it has the melody played with a very cheap synth sound. In fact, production-wise this lacks the "hook", or the melodies of best italo records, you're gonna need 2 copies to play with to make it interesting.
