Although both tracks are extremely well done, the second track has more of the Classic Goa Trance sound and feel which began to slowly distill out starting in 1998 due to the change in technology and the inevitable burnout of the Goa Trance pioneers. CHI-AD continued on past nearly everyone in the Classic Goa Trance scene and continued to make great Classic Goa Tracks well past 1998. The CD Earth Crossing is an amazing testament to the creative longevity of CHI-AD in the Classic Goa Trance genre..... created in 2001 and released in 2002. I can't imagine not having this vinyl in my collection. Funny.....you can find Awakenings on one comp called Happy Rave 11. Can you imagine the look on the faces of the Ravers hearing CHI-AD for the first time at a rave? How Awakenings ended up on that comp would be interesting to know.
