Surprisingly inferior follow-up to a vastly superior debut. Where the first LP was a full-out psych-progressive rock endeavour played exceptionally well (without a trace of pop), this LP attempts to offer more in the way of pop rock, but fails on delivery for the most part. Not sure what went wrong here over the course of one year between these releases. Tony Reeves (Colosseum) returns to produce this LP as well, and plays some bass on one cut. Some of the lengthier tracks (over 3:20 - Paradox, So We Meet Again, & Use Your Sense) try to recapture some of the magic found on the debut LP within their instrumental passages, which saves this from a lesser rating. Fans of the debut album, don't expect to find the same here, as this is an entirely different animal.
