Debbie is the nicest perdsn. I met her in Detroit back in 1979. You know, she doesn't even have a copy of this record.

No. Wish I was. I was a reviewer who helped give the Debbie Jacobs version of Maybe This Time some national recognition, since its commercial release was never to be.

Hi Ron. Were you the producer that sat with Ardy in my studio during the mastering of Viola Wills Stormy Weather ?

I had the pleasure of working with artie in miami. We alternated dj nights at a club called Mothers inside the Seagull hotel on the beach. Probably around 79 or 80. He was a monster dj and one of the nicest djs I ever worked with. Shortly after that I took up residence in key west and played there for 15 years. These days I play a classic disco night once a month at Flex in las vegas and play stormy weather every time and fondly remember artie and of course, the late great Viola.

Thanks for the 'info'. I always thought there must be SOME copies out there ?I did know about the Viola Wills 'hoo-ha' but I just wonder since both singers have moved on.Is there still any reason for this not to be released or were the 'master-tapes' destroyed too ??

Great song, cited as the top dance number at The Saint in 1982. Not to be confused with lesser efforts by Viola Wills or Norma Lewis. However, I believe the white label run was 100 copies, not 50. Ron LevinePhilly
