One of the most beautiful ambient electronic pieces released this century. Beautiful and lush rhythms that i hope eno & froese have gotten to hear as well as their legacy are carried on to new generations.

As much as I like this album, I find it strange that they haven´t mentioned that "Rise" is based on the pulse and feeling of Tangerine Dreams "Rubycon part one" from 1975. Just saying ...

... am afraid that "Rubycon part one" sounds a little cheesy in comparison .................

An outstanding album ! An ambient journey , comprised with scattered surround sounds & dragging rythms . The whole atmosphere reminds of 70's experimental , kraut rock masterpieces , yet it's only the production that reveals it is contemporary ! My acquaintance with it began when I visited a record store - it was playing on & I was immediately hooked ! I was so sure it would be an unknown 70's gem ... I grabbed the 2lp version & got back home to thoroughly listen through my hi-end headphones , MAGIC !!! What else can I say , listen for yourselves :-)))

Man , I own hi-end headphones but only plain hi-fi speakers ... but the thing is that ... such gemm albums can only be felt deep inside , so fuck the hi- thing and dig deep !!!
