Goldie Joyride vocal sample is possibly taken from channel 4 - early 90's documentary "death by bass" ..........slap me down if wrong.

A great release on Platinum. Two very slow, dark, brooding tracks, almost dubstep or IDM, but there are so many sub genres these days, it's difficult to say exactly where this fits in. It certainly is different. Both sides are equally good. Joyride is dark, with some nice echo effects on the vocals that drift in and out. 'I'm a Joyrider - That is the life we lead.' I assume Goldie provided the vocals. Proper B Boy material. Says it all really. Quality production yet again. It's right up there with Lava by John B earlier this year. The Hunt is also another massive tune in its own right; dark, methodical, and proper moody. As soon as I hear it, the old foot starts tapping and the head starts nodding. Quality. I think it's also the only release on Platinum that comes in a picture sleeve. So far, anyway. One of the best releases this year so far. Essential. Detboi is definitely one to watch........
