NURSING KIT is all German electro; I'd almost say old skool with all the vocoder effects and all, but it's not that old, really. Dr. Scissors likes it dark, though, similarly to a less energetic Alter Ego. "Give Me More" has the blippity groove going, and "Mosquito" gets even more uptempo, while "Spatula" and "Bursting Bubble" almost hit a 4/4. But "The Nurse" takes things back down, and "More Out" makes it spacious. But before you get too comfortable, "My Ears" tosses in some acid for your delectation, and the title track goes in for some tight energy. But "FM-Therapy" finishes up with some wandering ambience. Good, but maybe needs a little more oomph.
