With it's goth-esque front cover and title, i was expected it to be a what-the-f**k-have-i-bought-this-for? But instead of bombast i found it to be a drone/doom piece with operatic diva vocals...imagine Gorecki's 3rd symphony as played by Sunn0))). Seriously! There is too much dark ambient/doom/ritual black metal out there, some of it dire, but i listened to this over and over as i typed; it has...something which raises it above most others in this field. Recommended.
