I have never been able to get the US version confirmed. I have bought three different 'US versions' within a couple of years, but they all had the UK matrixes. If nobody can confirm that a pressing with the US matrixes exists the UK and US pressings should be merged, right?

Can anybody confirm, that there exist both a 1996 UK and a 1996 US press of this album, and that the only difference (according to Discogs) is that the part of the ingraved matrix run out that says 'MILES. MASTERPIECE.LONDON.' is on side A on the UK press and on side B on the US press?Does the US press also have the 'universal music (uk) is the are the exclusive licenses for the uk' line on rear sleeve?

Hi all, I just saw "suspicious" sealed copies of this popping up online. They are on Sleuth Records (SLLP2012). Is that a reissue or unofficial release?

The sticker on it says 'limited repress', though I think it's pretty obvious it's unofficial, otherwise there would be press/news on it from the official eels site/label, and they would likely be on either Eworks / Dreamworks or the current Eels label. These are different enough not to be confused as original presses once in hand.Technically these should have had a separate release created as opposed to being sold under this original issue, but to the credit of the seller that had all them (saw about 20 come and go before I bought one), they clearly described it as a 2013 reissue. Personally I think they are not a bad pressing, I can't compare to the original, but these sound good to me. Decent cover print with different labels and a plain inner. But yes, to answer the question there are 'repressings' on Sleuth that are not original Dreamworks releases. Officially sanctioned or bootleg? I'm guessing the latter.
