The 1st ELO album, the rare Lynne/Wood collaboration, the dividing point between The Move and ELO. Cellos rule the day. Bombast rules the night. No Answer is a weird record in that it's beauty lies in treading untraveled ground with chamber music and rock & roll. In 1971 that was weird. As a result of all these variables it is my fave ELO album. Nothing sounds like it before or since and is a masterpiece in cello-tastic vocal chamber rock & roll eccentricities. Get it now! N
