Good pressing. Like wine and cheese, bread and jam. What better combination that Ella and Louis. A true and timeless classic.

Good pressing, flat and well packed. Sounds a way better compared to DOL issue - more punch and tangibility of voices with less sibiliants as well.Record is little off-center but I already fixed it.

Good pressing and packaging. The download card is a nice touch as well. Some jazz records don't include the download card.

What is the difference between this version and "Wax Time Records" label ?

Better pressing quality, better folder. Digital master recording of Verve itself. Better transfer to analog. As for the sound it is slightly superior.

Wax Time is a Spanish company reissuing classic jazz and pop music in the public domain. In Europe, copyright expires in 50 years whereas it is 75 years in the USA. They can simply buy a Verve issued CD and use that as a source material to press vinyl. You will not be getting a quality pressing from the master analog tapes from Verve. No money goes to the artist or record companies. If that's the case, simply buy the Verve CD and you'r one step closer to the source material and it is cheaper. Essentially, don't waste your time or money of the plethora of pedestrian reissue companies like Wax Time.

I have a Wax Time pressing for Louis & Ella Again. I have a few other Wax Time records that all seem to be of really good quality as well. Overall, I hear they are hit or miss, so I try to avoid them when I can now. As for the quality of the Louis & Ella Again Wax Time pressing it was a 180g pressing and sounded great! It may be possible the same will happen with this.
