This is REAL MUSIC meaning it has an objective quality that renders it beyond argument or oppinion; it operates on a non-subjective level as functional sound art, yet it is consciously musical..
..in similar proportion to Branca's best.
the minimalism of the opening of their first one-hour single-tracked disc is peerless.
Yet the generosity of their programme is multiplied by the use of every moment by the artists.
This band is so good, so very loose and present that it takes most of my intelect to define them musicologically yet in an unfussy manner.
That definition is that THE SHIT is FuSHITsusha because they quintessentialize Avant-Garde Hard Rock. That is, spacially-adept, Live-Epic-Jammed, amplified acid-type rock. Many other idiomatic connotations are possible.
to what degree this group's spiritual integrity has to do with Japan (under Uranus) having excellent crystalline chemical drugs, like LSD and methamphetamine hydrochloride, I am unsure.

The first CD features Fushitusha, but Brotzmann does not appear. Brotzmann, wild and wonderful as usual, appears, but a bit sparingly, on the next two disks. Thus, the disks feature Fushituscha far more than Brotzmann.

Some long sections of this music are minimalist. Almost nothing happens. Other portions are repetitive but more interesting. Haino plays guitar in his inimitable style and offer acoustic blasts that one could not really call vocals.

This is music for the hard-core fan of avant-guarde, noise, drone fans.
