This is the best ambient electronica album I've ever heard. Infected Mushroom were (and still are) always amazing, with their own unique sound that absolutely no one else has. But this album is just otherworldly.

IM has returned with a new sense of humor---easy on the ears, attractive and even intriguing. Old school mushrooms are pretty funny tbh, I always wonder where their inspiration come from since their samples are often times unique and eccentric. But don't you worry, what IM brings us this time is not some hot-headed dancefloor material they were so good at making in the past but a totally new, creative album in a way most didn't expect. The duo picked up the pebblestone they dropped 12 years ago and took us on an amazing trip to transelvania where we can just sit and relax, no monstrous bassline, no acidic melodies, no broken or ridiculously high-pitched voice samples and definitely no cheese. For those who are looking for some oldschool hypnotic tunes these proly aren't for you, but for those who want some free-listening or family-friendly material, you can't miss it :) Both production and mastering are top-notch.

Quite a fantastic album by Infected Mushroom. Don't expect 4/4 kick Psytrance, this album is geared more toward the experimental realm and could be also argued to be downtempo in style, there are yet, still some psychedelic influences. This is a fresh contrast to the usual music by Infected Mushroom, I don't think everyone of the fans of Infected Mushroom will love it, because of it's style compared to their norm. It's very good however, with very good production as per usual from Infected Mushroom. It's a worthy addition to my music collection, all the tracks have their own charm and musical power, my favourites would perhaps be, 'Stuck In A Loop', with sliced up drums, processed vocals, and a beautiful piano melody that serves as the background of the song, and the rest of the tracks nearly measure up, it's good, and I'd recommend this album for those inclined for the style, it's not shoddily made, it's produced well and naturally, just a slightly different road then they normally do take. At first it kind of reminded me of the divergent style that the 2nd disc of Converting Vegetarians had, no Psytrance, more experimental breakbeat / downtempo stuff, but even better. Get hold of this if you like the explained styles or are just an infected mushroom fan, it serves to show off their skill in multiple genres, rather than sticking to the same old Psytrance, thankyou Infected Mushroom.

There are some solid tracks here, but to call this CV2 seems questionable... I half-expected a Shpongle collaboration and more tracks in the old ambient style but what they gave us is ok, I guess. My favorite tracks are Feelings, Demons Of Pain, Yamakas In Space, The Surgeon, and Blue Swan 5. I just wish they would make weird music again.

Infected Mushroom has returned, and this time not as disappointing as they have been lately. This is a strong album, with a pretty good diversity of tracks, varying in tempo, beat, style, mood and there are some vocals in there, too. First of all I want to point out; this album is a grower. It sounds better every time you play it, and you'll probably get at least one track on your mind after the first listen. For me, it was all pretty decent music, nothing stood out until Stuck In A Loop started playing. Dayum... This is far from their original style, and pretty far from what they ever do, but it is so well done that you'll probably never cease to be bedazzled. A friend of mine, which is a fan of 70's and 80's rock and does not generally like IM confessed that Stuck In A Loop is his new favorite track, as it is mine. Besides the composition and the melodies, the production of this song, just as with the whole album, is amazing, of the charts, as always when Erez and Amit are doing the mixing. This was a very good attempt at finding the wicked, experimental groove that once was coined back in 2003 on the original Converting Vegetarians album, on CD 2 (The Other Side), which was, previous to this new album, their best work in my opinion. In conclusion, this album is a must have, no matter how much of a IM fan you are. So order it while you can, play it as much as you can, and let's hope that it won't take another 12 years for Converting Vegetarians III to reach our CD-players.Enjoy!

IM is back in good form. Their best album since Vicious Delicious. The fusion of different genres into their signature sound is well done and there is a lot of variety. If you're a fan of IM, do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

I don't know, some tracks are really commercial. Like the Fields of Grey. What were they thinking with that vocal beep and blop? I guess they wanted to do a threesome with Sasha and her deep thro... Oh I mean deep voice.

pretty impressive work here. i've been a fan of all their work but seeing them go back to the older style but using some of their newer sound design techniques is interesting and definitely worth a listen.
