Mejora
One of the leading lights in Japanese jazz in the 1970s, this band was his attempt to break ground like Herbie Hancock and Miles Davis, and it's not a bad one, with lots of electronics and some good spacey funk grooves, all constantly invigorated by solos and diversions. Of course, with such an obscure cover and no release outside Japan it remained unknown until the days of the internet when people caught up on it. Some list it as one of the best 50 Japanese jazz-fusion albums, although I'm not sure I've heard 50 to know if I agree.

Some useful info I gleaned off the web: The title "Rokuyu" in Buddhist terms is "six of its kind to be likened to that ephemeral world" so that means: Metaphor Six.
