The Japanese jingles on this album sound extremely corny. Yet, to me passable. The first 1:30 minutes of "Caterpillars Know More" is for me, the highlight of album. Some really melancholic ambient sounds. Sad it only lasts for such a short time before other less impressive ambient sounds take over. My guilty pleasure track is "The Frog And I" with it's corny synth jingles and piano. "Noisy Silence" is probably the least corny track in this album and decently enjoyable by your average ambient music listener. The worst track is probably "The Miracle Of Flower Buds" The children singing in this track sounds AWFUL. Absolutely dreadful. The other tracks are about as corny as this album can get, yet borderline passable. For what is worth, meh. This album does a pretty bad job in incorporating decent Japanese instrumentation. Definitely no Japanese feeling here.
