The worlds most recorded artiste, LATA MANGESHKAR has much less non-film recordings to her credit that one would expect. The few albums that she did record became memorable hits. Among these were LATA SINGS GHALIB, MEERA BHAJANS, CHALAWAHI DES, her teaming with BHIMSEN JOSHI on RAM SHYAM GUN GAAN and the recent milestone SAJDA. In the earlier years on a few 78rpm and EP records were released some very popular Ghaals, Geets, Bhajans and Patriotic songs which indeed are treasures. 16 of these are included on this priceless collection and will be welcomed by LATA MANGESHKAR's fans who have not had access to them for many years. Indeed this CD is a collector's item.
