Recorded live at Bottom Line 17-21 May 1978, no overdubbing. Mixed at Delta Studio, Wilster, Germany.
The illustrations on the cover were officially credited to Brent Bailer but Spanish illustrator Nazario won in 2000 a legal battle after which it was determined that the original drawing had been done by him, for the cover of a magazine in the seventies.
The rear cover resembles the front cover of Lou's friend David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust album.
