This Time Around is a brilliant simple hazy single with a low keyed beat featuring lyrics and a tune that are certain to get stuck in your head for all time. It’s too bad that this song saw the light of day in 1994, taken from Luna’s Bewitched release, at the height of the coming compact disc wave, as the album would not be released on vinyl until 2013, and this track would only be released as a limited promotional single. I remember this surprise floated into my house along with a tee shirt bearing the atomic logo featured on the top of the disc, where the full richness of this song blossomed with the dueling guitars, a solid backbeat, and sensational vibes.
