My copy that I got today has an crazy amount of surface noise. It also must be poorly pressed since the tonearm veers back and forth making the vinyl sound slightly drunk. Anyone else with these problems?

Not sure why anybody would buy a picture disc to listen to. They are notorious for poor sound quality.

My copy is also off centered which causes the drunken sound, but not so much surface noise here. Pity that the most damaged is the best tune of the album and perhaps of their career, Revol.

Not sure why anyone would ever want the US mix...

Yeah, I know that much. To each their own, but in my eyes the original mix is far more raw and fitting to the material and overall album.The remix is overtly compressed and has a horrible "radio rock" sound typical from the Tom (and Chris) Lord-Alge. All the drums are triggered and sound like toys, the guitars are panned to the extreme, the vocals have obnoxious processing, and ridiculous compression. Truly horrible, weak sound.
