What set this American band apart from most other mid 70's rock bands, was the 16 string steel guitar playing supplied by Jimmy Berick. It really seemed to give Master's Of The Airwaves a unique sound. Even though obvious Led Zeppelin, Derek And The Dominos, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Allman Brothers influences can be throughout this LP, these guys still manage not to come off sounding overly derivative of those bands. Recommended!
