Notes

Never came in a picture sleeve, all copies came in plain white sleeve.
Famous indie release prior to CBS fame. They released it themselves about 9 months before "Who Can It Be Now". The band personally took it round to a few indie shops around Sydney and Melbourne who could be bothered stocking it. The rest of the copies got sold at gigs. "Down Under" is a way earlier version, and neither of these cuts have ever been re-issued.
Such a rare and unique piece of oz rock history.

The label uses "AA1" and "AA2" rather than the more traditional "A" and "B" usually used on 7" singles.

The catalogue number only appears etched in the runout groove.

I have read that there are were only 300 copies pressed so I am very pleased to have won one on eBay this week. Mine doesn't have a picture sleeve but I am sure I saw one on a previous sale or maybe I am confusing it with the sleeve for the Aussie release of down under/crazy. Ironically, the UK release of the 1983 hit had a pic of the band with big old fashioned computers behind them so they might well have needed a keypunch operator. Colin still sings Down Under on his seemingly constant tours (much to the pleasure for fans like myself). The song has evolved over the years (he has recorded it at least 3 times himself) with it now sounding more like the original than the up-tempo hit (i won't get started on law suits)
