Heavily inspired from UR "Transition" the first two tracks are nothing more than academic exercises in that well known Detroit space-funk.The best side is the B-side. "Sp1 2 Resurrection" is a strong acidic trip with a green-velvetish male voice, typical crescendoes and even rave sirens here and there ! Expecially made for the dancefloor. Sounds like the best Josh Wink. The original version of Downward Spiral is a great techno track. Pure Kenny Larkin "Metaphor" era. A very good production from this italian duo.
I don't see the "Transition"-parallel that much on the A-Side. The Deetron Remix especially is just a wonderful, mighty Detroit-Tribal-Anthem. Agree on what you say about the B-Side. Overall you can really say "all killers, no fillers" about this release, with A1 and B1 delivering really outstanding material. For this low price every lover of old skool 90s Techno should get this asap.
