This particular release was at the time only available from HTFR records as far as I am aware. It appears they had the exclusive rights of sale and it may very well have been pressed up by HTFR themselves in their own pressing plant. The record was on sale for quite a long time (about 3 months if my memory serves me well), and therefore I would seriously question the quoted figure of 500 pressed. Unlike the original 10" press which really were only a 500 off pressing.

Oh and contrary to rumours we didnt have our own pressing plant at htfr, yes they sold 4 track bootlegs for way too long. They were purchased off 2 or 3 different "suppliers" I say that loosely as they were just in it for a quick bit of cash and didnt stock legal releases. Htfr took more stick for selling bootlegs because they were daft enough to advertise them online and in printed catalogues for years. Other big known stores had them too,but didnt make it so obvious, but that's not saying they didnt order bootlegs to be pressed at a pressing plant for just htfr. Not sticking up for them, but they are just rumours, I worked "out the back" where the pressing plant was rumoured to be Haha. If there was one I would of had 100 release out before I left Haha. When I took over buying the garage I I stopped them stocking any bootlegs with ukg on. And sourced official represses. I knew most of the artists or label owners so I refused to take them.

There was only 500, htfr had it exclusive. It took that long to sell out, 500 is a fair bit for one store to sell even as an exclusive, at that time anyway. Was not pressed by htfr, they came from mystic matt LPU owner which I arranged myself for htfr.
