Just after I heard first few steps of Later Lover, I knew that this record must be mine one day. I got it after many years, and yes, Later Lover is still one of best tunes I heard. Deep, jazzy, sticky, sharp, soft, cozy, dark...Regarding price: record is under priced, imo. Like good wine, this record sound better as it gets older. Salute.

Just because something is good doesn't mean somethings should be expensive by default. Agreed on the review about 'Later Lover' though

I just shuddered looking at the prices being asked for here. Hooooo-ly shit! There are a couple of good tunes on here (later lover, sugar), but look elsewhere for better value. The ferox catalog is still undervalued, if you ask me.

Pretty mediocre release if you ask me. I actually think A and B is the stronger vinyl, some tracks are actually playable when pitched down a bit. C and D is bad, the vocal samples are pretty annoying.Nobody on Discogs cared about this release until some time 2012 when suddenly the wantlist number started exploding (it's at 322 as of this review). As a consequence, sales prices shot up. A LOT. I'd be curious what sparked the sudden interest in this release. Some big-name DJ dropped a track from this in his sets?

Bergunndy: I am not sure why you think my review is poor. I tried to made clear what I dislike about the record. No reason for you to get upset. People's tastes differ. In fact, I heard Later Lover being played out just this Friday at the club Stattbad in Berlin. So what.To further explain what I dislike: I think the tempo is too high, and the drum programming a bit too hard considering the melodies are kinda mellow, deep-housy. As already stated in my review, the vocal samples aren't for me, either. The sample on Hep Cat Speaketh is ghey! And no, I do not own the record. Not anymore. I bought it in 1995. Recently sold it -- made great money. (Note this is my Discogs account for reviews only.)

Poor Review. Do you even own this record?!"C and D is bad, the vocal samples are pretty annoying" Hep Cat Speaketh is one of the best house records ever made - its just a shame this release wasn't mastered well.Overall this is a strong release that has stood the test of time. Its nearly 20 years old and still sounds fresh (Side C was re-issued along with an A-side from another Nimbus Release and sold great)....
