Just got mine. The Optical tune is sweet, great sounding, crunchy. I really like this tune. The Matrix remix, remastered for this particular release, is indeed a letdown because of a few technical issues. Not horrible but not as solid as the original plating. Buy it for the A-side

Really strange choice to release Medicine Remix (was on VRS 001 RR and VRS 1LPR yet) when they have a lot of wicked unreleased stuff. "What's The Difference" is great one.

Can't agree. To me Medicine's remix is by far more evil, aggressive, darker and full of energy lurking to splash out on you rather than What's the Difference although it's a great tune as well. But what concerns re-releasing stuff, probbly they really had d better re-issue the ones which you can't really put your hands on these days instead of pretty much available ones.

Agreed; let's face it, everyone who bought this did so because of What's The Difference (21 years after first hearing it? It's been a longgggg wait :) Yet having something we all picked up easily two decades ago on the flip is still a *bit* irritating, considering it could have be Sci Fi Step Tech, Zoner, Void, Can U Read, Side Effect, Razorback, Vendetta, etc etc etc etc etc.... and if he'd really wanted his brother involved, there's Matrix dubplates out there from the 96/97 period that are well worthy of releaseTop tune tho, still one of Optical's very best. Never got better than the late 96 thru 98 productions, glad it wasn't lost to the Prototype black hole forever :)

I'd agree with that, Medicine remix not exactly hard to get hold off. Hopefully some of those other unreleased goodies will hit vinyl at some point.
