I agree with the others, this pressing has no depth, bad dynamics and sounds compressed. Not the worst sounding vinyl I have but after 1 spin I don't think I'll go back to it. The spotify stream to my audio system is better.

Anyone else's copy sound like shit? I picked up this LP and "Naveed", both Canadian pressings and they don't sound great. There's a lot of compression and I'm assuming it's because they put too much music on each side. Both of these probably should have been pressed on at least 3 sides of vinyl for a wider groove on each side. I'm using a brand new ATN95E stylus on an Audio Technica LP-120 turntable, which has a tonearm that has been designed to cut out a lot of inner groove distortion and usually does a great job of that, but the groove on all 4 of these sides is too compressed. Oh well, I'm just happy that these albums were finally pressed on vinyl. I never thought I'd see the day. Hopefully they will press "Happiness..." at some point.

Yeah, I've heard the gold pressings sound great. The black vinyl from Canada sounds like bullshit in my opinion at least. Guess I should have gone with the gold but the only way to get Naveed on vinyl at the moment is to get the Canadian pressing and that sounds like shit as well.

That is strange. I have a copy of Clumsy on the HMV gold colored exclusive and it sounds really good. Don't know if there was something wrong with the black vinyl pressings.

I'm with you, both sound like garbage. Very upset about this. Going to have to rebuy the CDs.
