Comes in picture cover. Polydor red label. Made in Ireland

I suspect this is a Repress - the original issue bears different Run=off groove details and the labels state "Made in the Republic of Ireland"

Neither of the two tracks on this 45 appeared on Planxty's 1st album. Cliffs of Dooneen was on Prosperous. Yarmouth Town was not on either of these albums.

These recordings are exclusive to this single, 'Dooneen' being a different recording to that featured on the 'first' LP, Prosperous, credited to Christy Moore -and oddly in mono.

However it and the exclusive b-side, Yarmouth Town have turned up on the compilations

A Feast Of Irish Folk
Another Feast of Irish Folk
The Planxty Collection
Planxty Arís

Years later the song came out again on a single, this time called (approved version) and again credited to Christy Moore.
