1-23720 (labels)There are four major differences between this and the other BMG club release. The CD with this release is purple on silver, the other release is black on silver with a completely different format. This release has 11 tracks, including 'D.M.S.R.', where the other release has only 10 tracks and does not include 'D.M.S.R.'. Also, this release has the WB logo on the rear insert whereas the other release does not. Lastly, on the other version's rear insert it states "To enable the release of 1999 as a single Compact Digital Disc, the song "D.M.S.R." has been omitted from the original LP edition." On this release, in place of that, it states "Produced, Arranged, Composed and Performed by Prince".

Back of booklet has both catalog numbers printed in the upper right corner. 12-page booklet includes all lyrics. CD has both catalog numbers printed on it. Rear insert has the WB catalog number on both spines, but only the BMG catalog number on the back.

Misprint on rear insert states "Printed in West". See the scans for an up-close scan of the printing error.

Although most all of the credit is given to Prince for the album, "and The Revolution" is mirrored in text in an awkward manner on the front cover.Like Prince - 1999 but doesn't have the WEA Music of Canada address in Scarborough printed on labels
