Some top drawer material on here such as 'Crush On A Earthling', pushing complex sounds & Ras's typical highly detailed production; only gripe is the old & slightly tired Mikey Dread style chat vocals, air horns & 'Oh Ras-ras-ras-ras' samples splattered over every single track repetitively throughout the entire album. This grates heavily & detracts from the finer sounds on offer. If wanting to kick back & immerse yourself in the whole album, by track 4 you'll be cursing. Offsets the vibe on mellower/more ambient tracks. Aside from this each track taken individually is a winner. This LP is the 2nd to see a vinyl release, following on from the seminal 'Ghetto Sci- Fi'. Crucial works on wax from the sadly recently departed Ras G, if a little crowded by repetetive jingles....

Apparently Ras and the Ramp label had a falling out after they did this record together. I got my copy signed by Ras and he wrote "FUCK RAMP!!!" over the cover of it - which I think is so cool! Haha
