Shorty after Leesa's death was reported, forum member Ludwig approached Robin Guthrie and Simon Raymonde with a view to making a song available to commemorate her passing, and at the same time to raise money for the cancer charities that Leesa supported. I'm pleased to announce that both Robin and Simon agreed and that their songs are now available for download.

Robin has made available a song called 'Up In The Air', and it is available from his website - http://www.robinguthrie.com/

Simon has made a track by his new band Snowbird available called 'Where Foxes Hide'. This is available for a limited time only via the Cocteau Twins Forums - there is a thread called 'Song for Leesa from Simon' in the Pandora's Box forum which contains the link to the song.

All we are asking is that if you download these songs then you should please make a donation in Leesa's name to one of the cancer charities that are mentioned. We're not asking for you to donate a fortune (although obviously you're free to do so), but if everybody who downloads the songs donates a few Pounds/Dollars/Euros then we have to power to make a significant donation to cancer research, and I'm sure that would be something that would have made Leesa very happy. If you are unable to donate online then please make a physical donation to a cancer charity in your own country. Every donation helps.

So please enjoy the songs, and please give generously.
