"Reasons" sounds like it might have helped R.E.M write "Radio Free Europe"(first version,1981). Most of R.E.M's music sounds a bit moved on from punk(i.e post, post-punk), but "Radio Free Europe" has traces of punk. I think many would describe the Skids as pop-punk.
