Compilation of Sylvester Stewart / aka Sly Stone before he formed his band Sly & The Family Stone in 1966.
All tracks from this compilation are from his early work when he was a member of his highschool band The Viscaynes and when he did some solo single on the labels VPM, Luke and G&P in 1961/62.
Track B1 & B2 are from his period when he was the producer of the San Francisco autumn label 1963/65
