This EP is particularly tight. Return of Steve Austin is no doubt minimal in that Dixon only needs a few elements to create a concentrated composition with a deep, rhythmic vibe. Check your pulse if your toes ain't tappin'. Human Body Rejecting Bionic Limbs goes darker, with a minor key haunting theme riding above an insistent cadence. The Last Bionic Run sinks even deeper. The drums are a pulse, the keys a techy paranoid accompaniment to the bionic man's flight. Electronic Wildlife brings the listener up a few levels from the previous subterranean depths with some left-field funk.
