Sadly this intoxicating breezy psychedelic wave is limited to but four songs, all of which are laced with twanging guitars, wah wah, a romantic vibe, whimsical lyrics and an irresistible fragrance from days gone by, laid down by a trio of wandering minstrels destined to make your trip all it should be, going by the names of Kool Breeze, Arrow, and Blue Spirit, instantly bring to mind the monikers of Spacemen 3 who used Sonic Boom and Spaceman.In June of 2017 their first full album will be released as a limited edition on green vinyl that is already sold out, and if this light handed EP is any indication of what is about to be unveiled, the pop psychedelic world is in for a rare and special treat.Review by Jenell Kesler

What can I say? If you like Psychedelic music, you'll like The Babe Rainbow for sure. Definitely one of my favourite Flightless label bands... Not too sure why this band and many others have to be blended into the mix of "King Gizzard Sounding Bands" or "They have the KGATLW sound"... Complete rubbish. These guys have their own, very unique sound and they're pretty incredible for a band that's only had one release so far. I've listened to this EP extensively on a digital format; I decided to pick it up because I just thought it was so well put together and the songwriting/production/sounds/vibe is just complemented so well together through-out the whole project.The pressing is great, I love it. Very dynamic, very clean and crisp sound. From my experience, the Flightless label has a great pressings.I would say, listen to the EP first to see if you like it and pick it up for the right price if you do. It's worth it, trust me. Looking forward to their LP coming out pretty soon.

They have the KGATWL sound on Double Rainbow because it was produced by Stu. Not rubbish at all.
