"This album is respectfully dedicated to the memory of Fela Ransome Kuti, the Godfather of Afro-Beat."

"Musicawa Silt" is a cover of "Muziqawi Silt" by the Wallias Band which is incorrectly referred to as "Wallais band" on the cover.

Musician's Credits on the cover are all fake names for members of Antibalas as well as The Soul Providers and The Mighty Imperials respectively, which later became The Dap-Kings.

The track "Eltsuhg Ibal Lasiti" spells "It Is All A Big Hustle" backwards. This is a reference to the fact that the album is not "Produced in Nigeria" as the cover states, but produced in New York by New York based musicians.

If this is all a big hustle i never feel cheated by having a copy of this album if anything i think the quality of the performances along side the dedication to the reproduction of the Afro sound makes this album an underground classic.
I would say the members of Antibalas, The Mighty imperials and The Soul Providers combined, created a unique sound by mimicking their cousins while giving the music a clean and polish, So the overall effect sounds more professional then the average Afro Funk or Soul album recorded in the continent and that must be a good thing if you ask me.
The album is consistent from start to finish and never seems to lose its identity.
I wish more African Afro funk/soul albums sounded this clean.
It is like you are getting the best of both worlds, Authentic world music, recorded in a modern
well looked after studio with new tapes.
I think most Africans would think this was an African band but also be surprised at the albums real origins and that's saying something.
