A great Privately Pressed school project record by the Princeton University (Princeton, New Jersey) choral/vocal group of 1959. This album features a mix of styles, ranging from folk to jazz and calypso. The back cover features photos of the group, including one shot underwater on a trip to Bermuda that year, which would explain the Calypso influence on some of the songs.

Records like this were made in very limited quantities, making this a true rarity! They were often only made for the group members themselves, and to sell at their appearances in and around the school.

The Tigertones group was founded in 1946 Princeton University students who sang together a style called "close harmony" and it is rumored that the original Tigertones group sang their first song together under a table in the tap room of Princeton's famous Nassau Inn where, along with many other venues, they went on to perform at many occasions over the years & even grew to the point of traveling the rest of the country, Bermuda & other far corners of the world & have also had the honor of entertaining former President Bill Clinton and have been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines including The New York Times, Life Magazine and Rolling Stone and to this day, after sixty years & 30 recordings, the Tigertones are still Princeton's signature all male a Capella group.
