Notes

Originally released with 15-page booklet with texts and translations.

Title on cover and labels: "Theodore Bikel Sings Songs of Israel"
Title on Spine, Back Cover: "Folksongs of Israel"

Label has 'guitarman' image

This is a re-issue in mono with the original recorded songs in 1956.
Some titles are spelled a little different comparing to the first 12" issue from 1956 (which was a re-issue of the original 10" Lp from 1955 with extra tracks added).

B3 has a different title: 'Shir Habokrim' but this is the same song which was originally titled 'Avara Avara' on the '56 issue and '55 issue.

Only released in mono!

The ('panoramic') stereo version was only released for a short time in 1960 (both on the 'grey' label and on the 'guitarman' label). It had 17 tracks (instead of 18, 'Ada' was removed) which were re-arranged and re-recorded with proper bas, extra guitar, flute and orchestra.
