I'll never forget the night I discovered this record. I was in the side room of Crobar NYC which was referred to as the "The Reed Room". My friend and I had just dropped about 20 minutes prior and were sitting on a gigantic bass bin near the entrance to the room. This bin was huge, about waist high and 4 feet long. My friend and I just chillin, talking about god knows when the DJ drops the A1 "Bang". The bassline was hitting so deep that I could literally feel brain vibrating inside my skull. You know like the kind of bassline that makes your ears itch from the inside. Just nuts. So I head up to the booth to get the ID. The DJ showed me the record and kindly offered me a VIP pass. Next thing I know its 5 hours later and I'm up on stage with Steve Lawler's friends knocking into things and talking nonsense to complete strangers. But yea, definitely a great record.
