The first set of deejay mixes i've ever purchased...not to mention among the first early-rave music collectibles I ever owned...a great introduction to the breakbeat-techno sound/pre-drum and bass era that was emerging in London at the time...although it's all been edited as promotional mixes...and really, that's all it is...it would have been more spectacular to actually hear the deejays play the records, rather then the cuts in between.

As mentioned above...if this was apart of a series...this would pretty much conclude the "early" part of rave culture...two periods are missing...the acid house/bleep techno era, and the belgium noise era..."Volume 3" would be much more fitting then "Volume 1", since there was never a "Volume 2" on Moonshine.
