This compilation is a good cross section of Singapore "A Go-Go" style recordings although the selection seems to be rather arbitrary depending on what records the compiler had access to. Some tracks are not from Singapore or even Southeast Asia at all. For example Betty Chung is from Hong Kong and The Spacemen are from Japan (!!) and such artists do not belong on such a compilation at all. Even The Crescendos who ARE from Singapore are too early (1963) to be part of the "A Go-Go" style (whatever that is) as they play in an earlier rock based style. Since there are literally hundreds of tracks which would have better fitted the concept of this compilation there is no need to include items which are not related at all. It shows that either the compiler doesn't know what they are doing, or (more likely) they only had a handful of records as source material.
