This compilation is no better than a bootleg.Many of of the artists have never received a cent in royalties.This compilation is an insult - to have their work re-edited without their knowledge stinks.Same old story - black musicians being ripped off by charlatans.Anyone who has involved themselves in this project to further their own means should hang their heads in shame from Cassablanca Trax downwards.Anyone who cares about the originators of House and their enduring legacy get on board because the righteous and legal fightback is about to begin.
Some of the re-edits are pretty great, and definitely re-interpretations not just knock-offs, but yeah not paying royalties to the originators is some bullshit
